PRAN - Beta Local  informa que continúa la  exhibición Residual de la artista puertorriqueña Ada Bobonis  en Casa del Sargento en Viejo San Juan hasta el próximo 15 de septiembre de 2017. La misma está localizada en la Calle Sol esq. Barbosa en el Viejo San Juan. (Al lado de la Escuela Lincoln)

Ada Bobonis is a native of Puerto Rico and currently lives and works in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her professional trajectory spans twenty- seven years and includes both experience as an artist, first and foremost, and as University professor in the School of Fine Arts and Design of Puerto Rico. As a visual artist she has exhibited in Europe, Puerto Rico and the United States. Her work includes painting, sculpture, video, photography and site-specific installation. Her academic experience involves positions of leadership as department head and in the evaluating committees for academic excellence. Ada Bobonis is a recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Fellowship (2005-2006) and was selected to participate in the Artist-in-Residence program of the Santa Fe Art Institute in New Mexico (2006) and in a one-year full-time residency in the Space Program of the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation in Brooklyn, New York (2010-2011). In 2009 she participated in the Second Biennial of the Canary Islands: Architecture, Land, and Landscape. Her most recent projects are Ñew York, OAS - Art Museum of the Americas, Washington, D.C. (2012) and Stages, Mountains,Water, Queens Museum, NY (2012). She has also been nominated for the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant, NY (2013); the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation Grant, Miami (2013); and the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant, NY (2005).
