Este año le echamos nuevamente un vistazo a los artistas de Puerto Rico más caros en base a su desempeño en las casas de subastas internacionalmente. Para elaborar esta lista del 2015  hemos utilizado los datos extraídos de las páginas web de diferentes casas de subastas y registros de ventas como:  Artcyclopedia, AskART, Arcadja Auctions Results, Art Net, Art Nexus, Artsy, Artvalue.com, Blouin Art Sale Index, Christie's, FindArtInfo.com, Invaluable.com, Liveauctioneers.com, MutualArt.com, Phillips de Pury & Co, RoGallery.com Auctions y Sotheby's.

Debo señalar que tanto Zilia Sanchez, Ángel Botello y el dúo de Allora & Calzadilla aunque son artistas  no nacidos en Puerto Rico mantienen una estrecha relación o han hecho mayormente parte de su carrera artística en la isla por cuanto han sido incluidos  Para un artista nacido en Puerto Rico el precio más alto vendido en una subasta lo tiene Olga Albizu con $ 56,250  llevada a cabo en Christie's, de  New York el 20 de noviembre de 2015.
